'Give Me a Break'

At intervals, we all need a break. I always need it when working; especially after sitting long hours in front of a computer. To take a break, I usually opt to work on something else or play some computer games, and sometimes just eat or take a nap. That should sound familiar and common as they are what many people do to ease the tension built up during that physical moments. Yet, there's another kind of tension that seems to be stronger and tends to burrow its root deeper. This kind of tension is accumulated through thought; and I normally need quiet time with myself when it occurs. Nonetheless, I've found out that talking to people helps. All I need is the right person to talk to and it should be done when my mind is stable enough to not to be stirred or weakened by possible unexpected different viewpoints.

  1. Every day, I usually take time to use my laptop for both work and rest. I have work to do every day such as homework, assignment, etc. My work needs laptop as the help to finish it. Every day I have to turn on my laptop and do my homework in front of it every day. First, I will check my e-mail and Facebook immediately when I turn it on. After I check it and get some news from my friends I will concentrate on my work. This semester I have to study many subjects and there are three subjects that are difficult for me, English Literature, English Syntax and Reading 2. These subjects gave me a lot of assignments. I have to use a lot of my brain’s power to think about story and grammar structure to do work as well. It makes me so tired. When I do not know what I should write after the last point, I will get stress so I will take a rest by read celebrities’ news, play games on Facebook, and chat with my friends in MSN. My day time normally use for computer so computer is my best way to relax from the work stressed.

  2. Take a rest with Music Therapy!!

    Stress is the most obstacle of my life. I always get stress whenever I can not manage time or work; everything I do on that period would be a mess. I tried many ways to break down my stress such as go for a walk, take a nap, play computer games, but all of those way did not work with me. Finally, I found the best way to take a break and get rid all of my stress at the same time; I called it “Music Therapy” I also love this way very much, because I love to sing and play a music instrument. I can shout out loud when I sing, to release all of my stress out. Either of music instruments I would play it harder when I got stress. After that I would feel happy instead of stress and I can continue my work or do anything I want

    So, anytime I get stress, music therapy not only helps me to take a rest, but it heals me from any pain also.

  4. Now, I’m studying very hard because I have 7 subjects in this semester and there are a lot of works. Of course, I’m so serious about my assignment or homework very much.


    When I come back to my dorm I always do my homework first. If I’m serious about the homework very much I will have a headache and cannot do it for a while. I always play attention to chatting with my parents and friends on MSN or Skype, but if it isn’t better I will play the guitar and sing songs together because music can makes me feel better from my stress. Afterwards, I will back to do my assignment or homework again.

  5. Give me a break

    When the time of examination is proximate, every student will pay a special attention to their lesson. Surely, the seriousness will be occurred; consequently, it’s very important to reduce your nerves by taking a break. Each of you may have a difference style of taking a break to decrease your tension; for about my point the best way to decrease my seriousness is “reading fashion magazines”. When I got trouble during reading for the exam, I will stop it for a moment; after that I took a deep breath and open my mind to receive a new thing for relaxing. Reading fashion magazines really help me decrease my tension effectively, because in the fashion magazine I can discover many new fashionable things such as new clothes, new accessories, new hair style, and new trend from the superstar. My favorite fashion magazine, namely, Elle, Braza, Grazia, Cosmopolitan, and so on. Unbelievably, when I opened and read them I cannot put them away; I want to read them continuously. Yet, it’s not my duty; I always remind myself that I have to concentrate with my lesson, because in fashion magazines they have no content for my examination. When I feel better, I get back to continue my reading for the examination and read them intentionally. I believed that if we do something intently; we will achieve our goal absolutely as the idiom that “Where there’s will there’s way”.

  6. "Give me a break"

    The strain seems like a big monster that always come and eat my brain again and again, this totally makes me feel tired, bored or can't stand that current situation. The bordom and my weakness come with the stress and it can effect to my physical and mental. When you have a hard time doing something and you want to give up but you can't runaway. Moreover you have to face it or you can't stand the pain of your bruised wounds because it's abundantly hurt but time will heal it plus a good medicines and the great spirit.
    Well, all of the stress and pain will be gone if you learn how to let yourself off the hook and enjoy your break or relax time. First,Take a deep breath then drink one glass of water, this will freshen up your physical mind because fresh air and water are natural which can give you a long term alleviation. After refshing yourself, go to your bestfriends and have the talk until you are feeling well. Don't forget to say thank you to your friends for aiding.
    Looks like you are okay now, but maybe you need something to make you happy. So, go ahead and do your favorite things that you want to do like game time, comics,movies, snacks,chocolate bars,drawing,chatting,playing with your pet and so on.
    For more about how to reliefs stress easily, you must have a good concentration and be calm. Any unexpect things can happend but you have to compose yourself. If you want to develop your concentration, you can pracetice meditation and yoga which are the easy way for you to do at home.

  7. Give Me a Break


    The most tension that always pushing me into stress is my over sensitive that’s mean I usually think over when troubles come. I am the person who has thinking a lot. I like to think about something that made me confuse then I will make the question in my head “why…why”. I have so much problem that I can’t solve, so I want to talk to someone that can help me and listen to me. I like to ask with my friend or my parents, because they can get a suggestion and explain something to me about that.
    When I’m alone and have stress from homework or study, I must stop do that and get relax. I usually watch the show of BIGBANG. They are the Korean group singer. It’s so strange, when I saw their face. They can make me feel better suddenly. They like to do something funny and surprise all the time. The even show have new and special. Sometime I forget the time until my work haven’t finish, so I should control myself. I think, I must have done my work before I should relax.
    During study when I’m boring or tried, I will get some snack or candy. It can help me feel better a little bit. The break time for relax can help me to stop thinking and get clear idea before continuous the work. It’s very important even though it is a few time.

  8. Give Me a Break


    For me,I think that the tense times is the time that makes me stress when I do something hard or use more times to do it .The way to take a break during tense time is do something that I like or make me relax. Last week, I had a lot of home work that many teacher gave to me .It was very hard and I had no time to do it. Moreover some of subject was not the one homework but it had more than one. From this situation made me stress but I had the way to break my stress by ate ice cream at Happy plus. I always went to ate after I had stressed because of this place had a lot of flavor to eat, and it had a bakery that they served together with the ice cream .Moreover, the taste was very delicious and they designed the look of the ice cream before they served to customer. This thing that made me happy ,relaxed and feel better every time that I had stressed . If you don’t know the way to take a break, I will suggest you that this way can decrease your stress as well.

  9. Giving me a break

    Whenever I stressed, absolutely I want to take some break because if not, I will have no any motivation to do assignment or to talk with my friend. For me, I can give myself a break too, firstly, I will listen to music and sing with the song, this way makes me can release my boredom or my bad emotion out of my heart, you can be happy and feel cheerful if you do it. The second is drinking cocoa, can be either cold or hot cocoa because the sweet of cocoa makes me relax and the good taste of cocoa can make concentration [not in everyone], but this will happen when you drink cocoa which is hot only. Finally, I will talk to my friends; it helps me so much because I can tell them what is my problem, and they will give my back the solution, if not, they will change to the joke, and it will make me laugh and feel funny. On the whole, they are my stress fixing method. It depends on me what kind of stress that I have and if I appropriately use it, I will be happy and do not stress anymore.

  10. Taking a break of each other will be different it dependent on liking or interesting. In my life have many times that I take a break for relax from anything such as hard homework, materials and any problems in my life. When I met the situation like this, first I will stop doing everything and close my eyes. Think about what is problem, how can I solve that. If it can’t help, I will do other thing such as play computer games, call to my mother and sleeping about fifteen minutes. In this time, I have big problem about acne it came from the winter. I often talk to my friend about how to solve this problem, but it not work. I am really nervous with this. And then, I think, I have one way, it make me happy with it. It is think positive with it. When I had seen, I thought, It was like a natural of teenage. If someone who doesn’t have acne, they are abnormal person. It is a good way to taking a break from this problem. It makes me happy when I see the mirror. Anybody could have other way to relax or take a break such as eating snack or anything but I think this way is good but the effect that became with it. It can make me serious than ever. It is fatness.

  11. Give Me a Break

    Everybody has the stress I often spend too much times for stress with my assignment or problem. When mention to stress, I will think of exam time that students should intend to read books for pass the exam. Someday I drank coffee to help me in reading at night or all night. I am so tired, but I have to attempt to read. When I read, I intend to read and ignore surrounding around me until it becomes stress. I put pressure on myself, force myself to read, try to read and practise more exercises. I choose to sing a song and listen to the music for depress stress. It is a good way to do for leave stress for me. I took songs from my computer to my mobile phone. Most songs are about the relax songs, I listen to the relax songs, and happy to sing that song. That time I don’t keep attention to the exam that coming soon. After depress stress, I sleep for keep my health because I may have no enough time to sleep. Other people may have different way to depress or leave stress, it depend on your solutions. I choose listening to the music and sing a song to depress that, it is a best way for me.

    The stress became destroyed my health since I started study in the first years of bachelor's degree, it is sure that I have to more attention with the study than the past. When I study hard or do something that I have to use the brain. I like to read the book till I finish, and it always make me feel headache. I do not want to do anything till I get better. The tension made me could not sleep well, although I toke the sleeping pill. Finally, I try to find the way to heal my health. Then many questions pop up in my head; why I will not take a break, why I never know the limit of myself. I closed the book and do something to relax. I always watch the movie or listen to music, it can make me thinking about another things not something in the book,this method help me to relax my brain. I thought sometime we should give a little time to take care yourself. You should take a break before your body will get tired, it is not only when you read a book but it is also every activity that you do, and it has the limited.

    When I faced with the trouble, I would do everything to reduce my tension.
    Nowadays, I have a lot of classes and homework; it makes me feel so bad because I must wake up at 8.00 am everyday. I have not enough time to the rest because after I have classes, I must do a lot of homework. When I face with a lot of homework, of course I am very serious. I will decrease my tension by talking with my mother because I want her encourage me to fulfill my depressed heart. In addition, I will go to shopping with my boyfriend and talks about my problem that make me feel better. After that, I will come back to the problem world again and fight it!!!!!. Sometimes, I do not want to learn anymore but my thought will pop-up to my mother words “Keep going little daughter”. Therefore, I must do everything to her; I will not make her disappoint me. Whenever, I face with a serious case, I will think of my mother face that is my activity to do first; it makes me better more than another activity because just only my mother courage me that Ok for me. I think it like God bless me. Moreover, I think I will not have tension anymore because however my mother will be the one who beside me forever. Just think of mother that a great activity to reduce my tention.

  14. “Give me a break”

    “Give me a break” After I read the topic I think it will occur out of the situation that we do something that haven’t the time to stop do that or do something too difficult, so we want to take a break for release the tension. In my case I has one situation that made me want to shout “Give me a break”, it’s situation in this week because this week is the week before midterm exam and I think this week shouldn’t have a lot homework. This week is the time to prepare for midterm exam but it’s the opposite my hope to be able to prepare before midterm exam. In this week has a lot of homework to perform such as writing1, English literature1, reading2, science for life and hotel management. I had been worked hard until now this time I want to take a break to relieve my fatigued. I like to relax by do some activities that make me happy and have more energy to carry on the homework such as play volleyball, read newspaper, chat with friend on MSN, find something to eat and etc. The best way that I choose to relax by play volleyball, it’s my favorite sport and it made me good health moreover, to discharge my serious from working. After played volleyball about one hour I came back to do homework again because I released between played volleyball.

    When you are stress it has many disadvantages for your health ,and it also makes you can’t continue your activity too. The way to decrease your tension is you should take a break. It is good for you. May be you can do everything better than before. If you want take a brake, it means you will be tried, or can’t stand with something anymore. There‘re many why to take a break .For example, travelling, sleep, or play computer games. I myself, I have a lot of homework, and many subject that I must realize it before the exam. When I am tired from hard working and have a lot of homework, I will go to travel somewhere that near my dormitory , take a nap around 10-15 minutes, surfing the internet about something relax such as gossip star, watch the movie ,or series like gossip girl, ugly betty, etc. All of this activity can help me relax and decrease my stress about my study much more.

    A break will concurrently with a work, if you work hard without taking a break, that to be a cause of migraine or affect to your health.
    I can not pay attention for long time with something, if it makes me serious. When I do homework I need to be relaxed all the time because I have lots of homework and it’s very difficult for me. I will take a break with the relaxing activities. I like to listen to music, play the computer games, laugh with some joke and read comic books.
    I spend the time for a break and do my work again.
    Nowadays the human lifestyle concern with computer and new technology, so they have worked’s oppressions.
    If you are someone who needs to have big break, you should go spa or make a small trip in your weekend.

    According to this topic, of course I would like to take a break, especially, when a lot of homework, and midterm examination approaching to me together. This is time of tense. It just likes a crisis, so I work hard all day long, and I read a text book all night. I have not enough for sleep, therefore it impact to my mental and physical health. I am unhappy, and very tired. Nevertheless I take a break by watching movie. Because, the movie make me enjoy, and tense relieve. I call “the movie therapy”. I fond of several kind of movie, it offer different emotion, such as when I read a lot of text book, I take a break by see the comedy movie. Because it assistant me away the tense, and If I bored the homework, I watch the action movie which activate me. After that, I feel very well, and I can back to continuo my homework without the boredom. Finally, almost of people may be think about my break is disadvantage, and squander, but it is advantage for me.

  20. Give me a break I always need it when I have to do assignment and when I have to practice cheerleader. Almost everyday, I have to do two things together I'm so tried and I must manage the time for do two things it well. I usually break the time by listening to the music, singing, dancing, eating a chocolate or sleeping etc. I have many ways for relaxed my stress moreover, some times I will talk with my parents when I have some problem I think it can make me better because just hear them sound. One day, I felt bad after I finished midterm examination I think it very difficult I can't do it, I came back to dormitory and then I cry long time while, I think why I can't do it well? After, I can found the answer because I didn't read it I'm so sad but, I can't do anything. Now, I understand and I think when I cry I can think a lot for solve the trouble and cry for relaxed it can make me better.

    I’ve learned through my experience that every human being has to be responsible to their job, and sometimes I saw some of my friends; they’ve studied seriously and learned hard in advance which should be a perfect learning style. Thoughtfully, if I were the one of such learner, what will be happening in my life? By the way, I may get many tensions, and my health may be terrible as soon, but finally it’s happened to me. I have must to practice many exercises and study hard as such friends, now then I’ve got many tensions as well, and my life is not comfortable because of surrounding troubles. Moreover, I think my own characteristic has changed in the reverse way: I can’t control my emotion as it can explode whenever, so I’ve tried to find out the effective way to get out of the terrible time as much as I can. In addition, I think that I should have a brake for a while, and ease my tension with music because whenever I sing and listen to the music; literally, my mind can reach delightfulness, and all of my gloominess or yokes will release. Eventually, I think I can resolve and brake through my bad emotion and tension by singing and listening to the music because it’s the best way to ease all of tensions in my mind as if it’s like an encouragement to support me to living and roaming in an adventurous life.

  23. Give me a break!!

    A lot of homework going to makes me mad in this time because the midterm exam is coming zoon. No doubt, all of my friends going to be mad like me as well. Today is Tuesday 15th and I’ll have the midterm exam on Monday 21st, and what should I do if there are so many tasks I have to do during this time? How can I prepare my midterm exam? Furthermore, I’m going to have a quiz on this Friday, and I haven’t prepared it yet. Oh, it is my hard time to cope with seven serious and nerves subjects. I want to beg all of my lovely teachers to pity of me, but I know they just teach us (my friends and I) from the plan they have prepared. It doesn’t their fault. And I also know that I have to face more serious and hard work in the future. So, I must accept it with no excuse because learning is my direct obligation. I hope that I can relax after finish the exam during New Year holidays without anything disturb me with my miracle time to have a break. And I believe that I can handle with my main duty after having a peaceful break. No matter how it hard, I have to pass it, and I trust in myself that I can do it. If I can pass through that time, I expect to have a good rest at my dream place; Maldives. I’ll leave every troubles that I have faced all my life there, and I think that it will be my greatest break.

  24. Before during both midterm and final examination periods, I strongly believe that all students must be busy about their works, so am I. I always have a lot of works because when instructors assign homework or projects, I don’t do them immediately but I will do in a week before a deadline, which is nearly examination. Therefore, in these periods I am so busy and I also need a break. To take a break, I always lay down on my bed and listen to my favorite songs with my mp3 player. It seems like a simple way to take a break but it helps me a lot. :)

  25. Every night, I pray the moon for my life be peaceful and no other struggles or be passive day by day. I am so tried or exhausted. When I know that today I have to do assignment and deadline of the handouts coming. Maybe, I want to say with my teacher that “Give Me a Break”.
    In this semester, I am study hard and have a lot of homework. I worried about my study and serious about my grade. In particular, I have midterm examination next week. I spent a long time for reading a book and review lessons.
    So, I try great way to make me feel relaxed. Perhaps, travel somewhere in this world that makes me feel good and don’t think about a lesson. But, as I can do now is shopping, I love to shopping at Mae Sai (Mae Sai is the northernmost district of Chiang Rai Province).
    Whenever I was shopping I felt happy because I can get a good that I want and not expensive too. I like to buy CD, DVD movie or Korean Series. When I came back to my home I will lie down on a sofa for watch a movie and ate snacks with.

  26. Encountering problems is a part of growing up. There are times when you feel encountering a problem is such a challenging job, yet, there are times when you feel you can not take it anymore because it is just so tense. When it comes to the latter, I will need to move and by “move”, I do not mean to go outside the room or to go and do some exercise, but I mean to go to a totally different place like from Chiang Rai to Phuket or from Thailand to China. To me, being in a new environment is the only way I can allow my brain not to think about it and my soul to rest. However, I know, at last, I have to come back and face the problem since, as I said, encountering problems is a part of growing up--the hardest one.

  27. Give me a break

    I always say this sentence "give me a break" out loud when my weak body and mind don't want to perceive anything. This feeling mostly comes when I need to face with the problems: friends, family or studying. The way to release my tension is hanging around alone or with some one who is special for me. I think talking and sharing ideas are the best way, but you need to choose someone who can trust or someone who is a good listener. When I talk about my tension or bad situation to someone, I feel refresh. It’s like when you “restart” your computer. Sometimes, taking a break doesn’t mean you waste time with games, hanging around, movies or other fun activities. I think just a tiny break while you are working with the bad feeling is worthwhile because if you keep doing that things it may cause your work and absolutely your body and mind. “The more I work, the more I rest” I put it in the post-it above my desk to remind me that I should deserve something good after I have done my good work. So, let’s take a break…

  28. -Taking a break-

    Thinking about a break when feeling tired or weary from doing daily activites, as it is a necseesary thing for everyone, especially being a student in college level that has to do a number of homeworks or examinations in each day, that is one of obligative affairs undergone on campus. Besides, housework is very boring and tiring to cause loss of energy, being a man, not a machine,so needing for having a rest or break for our good physical condition.
    There are manny methods of managing a break such as sitting still listening to music, drawing a picture in casual way or napping in order to daydream, it is the best for napping because of most relax and least loss of energy however.
    For my case, when I feel confused or tired from the lessons that the tutor gives in class, sometimes I pretend to go to toilet but actually to the canteen to relax by having a light delicious meal such as bread and stop thinking anything bringing a headache in and maybe miss or break out the class that there is no important activities or checking student list,naping at dorm is the best way I usaully do but many people found it unpleasant to do. Namely, taking a break to ease tiredness or strees for people who love comfort.

    The most favorite thing that I love to do the most is dancing. I love to dance with rhythms and music; dance can help me to learn several kinds of music. I can say that rhythm of music and dancing is my life; I usually come to dancing club to chronograph my own dancing style and improve the body to be healthier. Also it is the best way for me to relax and give a break because when it comes to dance, I have nothing to worry about and I will forget about serious stuff automatically. I just let the music move my body with rhythms. While I’m dancing I can take a deep breath and feel lively splash. Dancing makes me feel so much better after a boring day is done, I feel like dancing is a friend because I spend a lot of time for it. Although the mid-term exam is coming, I still dance before books. And surprisingly that I can read books more and more without falling asleep and I can understand while I’m taking a note. I may never talk to Dance, but it can make me feel very delightful. Rhythm and Dancing are such the best friends of mine.

    Breaking is a kind of relaxing whenever you work hard or do something for a long time that make you feel boring and tense; you need to break it down for relieve your tense. For me, whenever I had a lot of thinking or tense. I won’t play game surely because whenever I played game; I would like to be won, and did everything that made me to be win, so it made me to be tense more than relax. When I had tense, I will relax by sleep. It doesn’t necessary to sleep for hour and hour, but I just sleep in fifteen minutes. After I wake up, I felt good and nice to my brain and it also made me to lose my tense and helped me in thinking too because sleeping took my brain to rest and relax by their own after I have used it for a long time. I think sleeping is good for me because it can reduce my tense and also can make me in good healthy too.

    Now, it’s time to prepare myself for mid term examination, but I still have a lot of homework which come from seven subjects that I take for this semester. After I come back to my room, I have to do my hardy assignments at least a subject per day. While I am trying to finish it, it’s so serious time that makes me feel extremely headache, until I think that “I can’t do it any more, I need a break”


    Taking a nap is the best way to rest myself when I feel really tried with my homework. While I am taking a nap, every parts of my body are resting too. After I get up, it seem like my body restart again, my energy and my brain ready to continue the assignments, until they finish. It can answer that why taking a nap is my best way to relax.

    I n my unforgettable memory, I had chit chat with friends as a marathon that was the time I could speak and listen to them so much; however, my wanted so take a nap and I still had a conversation with them . I enjoyed with talking to one another about myself while I was studying in high school and shared ideas with them on the life of school as well as the different life style of school to campus. We kept talking until mid-night, I thought it was enough for me for that day, but they stood still going on their various interesting stories and I couldn’t stand on having a word with them at all, then they told me that tomorrow was the weekend and if I was the friend of them I should continue talking with them, so I kept going on with them until they finished their topics in each. After finishing having a word with them on their talking, I just wanted to sleep that please gave me a break, because I already was not okay with you.

  33. "Trouble is a friend"


    Many people suffering from a stressful of work or troubling situation and most of them will be giving up themselves. Why we don’t encourage fighting with it? I’m one of the people who have same problem likes all of them. Sometimes, I tried from studying, but I always persuade myself by taking some activity to melt away those stressful by keeping balance and relaxation. I will stop doing everything when I can’t effort to do by sitting alone, consulting with my parents, listening to the songs, chatting with my dearest friends, and being patient likes a fish that stop swimming for a while at the surface of the water because it needs oxygen for living. It seems to me I will stop everything when I feel uncomfortable to do, but I will keep waiting until I feel better or ready to do that work. I think if we are contumacious to do the problem is not resolved and I believe that all problems have to find solutions itself even it will come together and makes me feel mad, but I’m trying to calm my mind and then I can find solutions of the problem easily. I believe that if we have a positive thinking no matter the problem is, we can easily solve it. In addition, I think that the cause of all suffering is not caused by anything, but we are the cause of suffering ourselves.

  34. ‘Give Me a Break’

    When I must study too much during a day, I might get the tension, especially when I studied three subjects as my schedule and one make up class of another subject in one day. And then the teacher of each subject often give me a lot of assignments, and they determine the very fast time to send the assignments, so I must send it on time. Then these assignments and less free time during the day make me very stressed, Totally, I need more break between each subject and less assignment, but I cannot because it is the teacher’s command, we cannot break it at all. Then when I come back to the dormitory, I may relax my self by doing something before I do those assignments to send to the teacher. For instance, I surf the internet for watching video from Youtube, online on facebook, or I may lie on my bed for a long period, but I don’t sleep at all because when I get up, I may get a headache. Moreover, I usually buy and eat some food because I will be happy when I eat it, then after I’m full; I will have the energy, and enjoy with a lot assignments with out tension.

    Everybody need to rest when they tried from hard working. Before I studied at highschool, I had never serious about my grade. I loved to enjoy high school activities more than study. But when I studied at Mae Fah Luang University, I am really serious about my grade. I want to graduate in 4 years not 5 or 6 years. I had never doing activities in the University. In this semester, I study about 7 subjects. It is very hard to me and my face is so livid. I do not have a free time to maintain my healthy and exercise to improve myself. I want to brake from the hard work and want to disappear from here to a somewhere that I can rest alone, quite and private. If I have a free time, I will sleep or see romantic movies. I think, sleep is the best rest to repair myself from hard working. In this semester has a good thing that is a lot of holiday. I love to rest in the holiday at my dormitory or come back to my grandmother’s home in Bangkok on some holiday that has a long time about 5 to 7 days and my mother will come from Trang to visit me. When I came home, I was relax and was not take hard work to my heart. I was very happy. I want a lot of holiday to rest. I know hard working is a good thing to improve my study but I really tried. My mother taught me a lot to be a patient. I think, if I forge to do hard works, I will be a good patient and my future will be good.

    In every year, I have to do examination and I will be serious in every time because I think it is very hard for me and I can’t do it. Before the exam, I will try to read and memorize the text in the sheet or book that the teacher gave to me. While I’m reading the book, I felt confused about the content and I have headache so much. Therefore, I have to break down the stress by listen the music that I like and sometimes I will go to shopping at the market in order to buy the dessert or juice. After that I will eat it and I have a power to read it again. When the exam arrives, I’m very stress and confused with everything but I will try don’t be serious about it and ready to my best. Next week later, the results of score turn to be good and I’m proud about what I did so much. I think if I’m serious or unhappy about to do something, I should be relax myself and come back to do my work agian.

    I believed that everyone who works for long hours will encounter this kind of condition called tension or stress. I am in the one who need a break when I have to sit all day long on the computer to do the work, studied hard in each daily day or get stressed when I have to concentrate a lot on the lesson to review what I’ve learn prepare for the exam. Therefore, there are many ways to relax during the tense time for me such as take a nap and listen to the soft music. Mostly, when I feel so tired and my brain seems to be empty I usually set an alarm clock about 20 minutes to take a nap to relieve a stress on the nice spot of comfort bed in a warm blanket. To get relaxing more efficiency, I will listen to the music that is soft and easy to listen to such as classical music, pop music and sound effects like rain and windchimes. It’s all worked for me to boost up the energy and being more active during the day and long night. Furthermore, this kind of relaxation help me refresh the mind and sometimes I get can a better ideas after I have take a rest especially when I have to use my brain to think or write something like weekly journal. To be brief, if I feel stuck or tired during the tense hours, I need relaxation and I’m sure I’ll come back with the alertness body.

  38. Give me a break

    Stress can make people ill cause by they do hard working, environment, fear something or whatever. For me, I have stress from hard working that there are eight subjects that I study. Moreover I have a lot of homework day by day “Oh God I gonna be die” and I sleep at 2 pm. in everyday. There are seven subjects that start 8 o’clock; I must go to study on time. I try to wake up early in the morning but I do it sometime. Therefore, I find the best way to avoid the stress that is I do mediation. First, I sit on the center of room but the room must be more quietly. Then I close my eyes about 20 minutes, I think of the Buddha and I breathe in – out slowly. After that I open my eyes it makes me feel good and my brain have free from the trouble. Then I come back to work again and I do my homework correctly because I think before I do it is the result of mediation

    Advise: If you want to relax from stress I think you should find the best way like me. If you not do that you will be stress again. Let’s take a break!!!

  39. 'Give Me a Break'

    Sometimes I think I am almost too patient to do lots of work, but I have also found that patience makes me feel extremely tension. I seem to be busy all day and have lots of things to do. For instance, the last summer when I went to do part- time job in 7- Eleven to save money to paid for fee. This job made me thought that ease my parents as much as I can. However, I was so tired and serious whenever have a lot of customers. I told myself that give me a Break and some freedom for this time. I wanted to relax and reduce the stress during that time I am going to hide someone behind the stock for snooze and then came back to continue work. Fortunately, I finished the work in the evening of the day; I had an independent from tension with job. After that I slept all the day until I woke up for a big meal included beverage and snack with my colleagues. We are shared ideas and give some suggestion to each other for reduce the serious problems in our mind. Thus, recreation is the ways to give me to take a break.

    In actually, our daily life has many things that make us busy with a working or studying. And also I am one of the people that always busy with a studying, it has an affect to my battery lower that makes me not have enough of energy to living as cheerfully. Then, I will often do activities that can charge of my energy, such as watch movies a kind of romantic-comedy because it can make me to smile and laugh. And another, my best way to relaxing is a travel for a short time, by ride a motorbike to see a view on sideways. When I touch the atmosphere of natural and snuff a fresh air that makes me enjoys a lot and less of any stress. When whoever are tense, I think the best way that should be rest because if have a good mind it will do anything to be better too.

    When you stress or doing hard working for a long time, you should be break. Taking break has different ways and depends on each person. For me I have to do work hardly every day such as homework, assignment, read literature book etc. This work makes me stress and when I’m stress, it have a lot of bad effects for me, both physical health and mental health. When I have this symptom, I will find the way to break stress. I always turn on the computer and surf the internet for find the kind of music that I like to listen. Not only listen the music, I always buy a lot of snack or desert and beverage for ate while me listen the music. The kind of music that I like to listen are soul, pop, easy listening etc., and I like to listen this kind of music because when I listen, I feel relax and feel like I let oneself from everything. While I ate snack together with listen the music, I feel enjoy to ate so much and snack give energy for my body. It makes me feel relax and have power to work on.   43. The limit could have with everyone even with the properly people. I can say that I have a talent of drawing. Once in my old high school I had to join with the contests because my teacher can not find anyone but me. The first time I said “yes”, but after my second day of drawing, it took my whole time. I was thinking that it should not be like this because I have no time with other subjects. Finally, my work had done in the third day, but you know I had not slept, and I went to school like a zombie. This experience did not make me tired enough. The two days after my teacher said “Hello, Monnattha, you should go to this contest”. I said “ok” because I thought it will not be a problem otherwise I got a long sleep enough before the day. After this contest I was proud of myself that I did not waste my life. Again! My teacher came to please me to draw for these two contests left. Oh! Come on… my answer was “I am so sorry for this time. I would like to, but please give me a break”. It was hard for a girl who was only in grade 9 without any breaks of work.

  44. Give me a break
    My tense time is the time when I confront with serious thing or serious situation. It zaps my energy and makes me dull. I cannot do anything when I am tense. After that, I am stress because my work will fail and cannot go on, so I try to find ways to conflict it. First thing that I do is stopping my work and find some sweet candy especially, chocolate flavor because chocolate make people happy. Second thing that I do if I cannot break my stress is sleeping with classic music such as Canon D. It makes me relax and feel soft. Although these things can reduce my stress, the best way of reducing stress is call to my mother because every time I am tense or stress, she give me good lesson and engaged me to fight it, but before I call to her, I will try to solve it, because I wish her happy with good things more than serious about my stress. Relaxing when I was tense time, it was easy. No one is tense thought time, except, people who do not find way to solve. Get rid of any mistake and enjoy in you life. Good for you!!

    During I am in class, I always take a nap in the lesson. Especially every Monday, the day we have to learn so hard. It is many courses that I have to take all day. Last semester, it used to one or two subjects per day but now it is start from early morning until late of evening. That include having lunch very late, it is not fair for me. So take a nap during class is usually happened. No one can solve this problem because some teacher said “it is not my business” and my lecture rooms are very far. I have to walk and some time almost run. I require a break to take some snack or candy!

    Snack and candy, I always bring it with me in the class. Some time green tea too. I sit at the back of the room with my BFF. Other people are learning but I am not because I need a break time. Give me a break!

  47. This week I’m busy all days and nights because the exam time’s coming up. This reason drives me work hard. In the morning, I have to go to class and then come back to my room to do a lots of assignments and read a lots of text books. Now, I feel like I already lost my mind and spirit, so I have to rearrange or manage my schedule and need a rest immediately. Whenever I feel exhausted or don’t want to do boring things like reading and doing homework, I usually either lie down on my soft bed and close my eyes for a moment or get out of my room to breathe fresh air and see the green things like trees and grass. My friend told me that doing like that could make me feel relax and also help me to decrease worries and stress. I sometimes go to find something to eat and drink such as sweets, snacks and cool soft drinks. I’ve found that these ways really help me and make me feel better.

    All of time is included many activities, it means that whatever you do it consist of beginning and finishing but between those two things there is breaking be factor also. Nobody can do anything by without breaking at least you have to break for reviewing the past that you have done. Therefore, I have the idea that human’s living is hard to be simple cause of basic necessary of human life is increasing and we should compete with kind of reputation, especially nowadays are significant so, human must let themselves to be successfully to everything and these are the reason that we have to moving forward fast by neglecting turn back how was going on passed direction and they are why we can see something bad obviously.     Last three weeks, due to Lamduan Games will be approach in January, next year. So it must have cheering team on grandstand and Junior’s student must be cheerer. When it has cheerer, it should have a drummer. Fortunately, I was the lucky man; because I could play a drum so I was chosen one to beat a drum. During I trained cheering with the cheering team, about 2 hours for every evening of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. In early, I enjoyed with drums beating but I felt I was so tired in later. Because the drummer was only me, no people who can change me. I need private times in evening to do some activities that I would like to do. So I wanted to break the cheer drumming, I want to rest. However, unfortunately; I told to my friends and seniors about my tired but nobody could not to help me. They told me, nobody could beat like you so you should be bear, I would encourage you!! I was so sad and so tired, whoever please helped me, please give me a break. Nowadays, I am still a drummer; I try to find out the other drummer for change me to beating drum, still keeping on.

  50. Take a break

    People want to take a break after they work so hard. For me, I just understand meaning of this word truly last night after working hard.

    Yesterday was my horrible day, I had three quizzes and many assignments since the first class on the late morning till the last class about six o’clock. After finished the class, I came back to my dormitory, then continued working with all of the work on my table. Finally, I finished them all about 2 am. Afterward, I washed my face and looking at the mirror, my face looked like a patient who just left from the hospital. I talked with my self that this was the time for took a break, but unfortunately, My lip eyes were looking something that made me wanted to cry. It was the first draft paper that I forgot to rewrite it to the second draft.
    Immediately, my stupid thinking was coming very fast and told myself that it was a bedtime, so you shouldn’t care about the work and let yourself had a rest. It was good idea but it easier to think more than done. The picture of Aj. Supin when she saw the bad work at the last class appeared in my head. Suddenly, I awoke myself, continuing the work, I typed very slowly, my mind could leave out all the time, but I could compose it until I finished the last work. I didn’t care every thing around the bed,
    I laid down on the bed, and slept after minutes, so it was fastest sleep once in my life.

  51. “Tension” I’m quite sure everyone has it, especially this time. They are tense about midterm examination and a lot of homework. For me, I’m tense too. I think this feeling always disturbs me when I serious with a lesson, especially when I don’t understand the lesson. How can I do? Yes, I must eradicate it out!

    Every times, when I’m tense, I will take a shoulder at first because it can make me relax so much, and after that I will have slept. This way is good for me because when I slept, I will not tense anymore and when I woke up, I will forget it automatically .However, I have another way to do when I feel tense. It is eating, especially desserts. Some kind of ice-creams, cakes, chocolates, or snacks. You know, when I eat it, I don’t pay attention to anything beside the sweets in front of me. Its taste makes me relax and so happy, then I will feel good immediately.

    Of course, when I felt tense, it’s all right after I did from my ways, but this time I think there is nothing make me relax because I so tense about midterm examination!.

    At the first semester of my university’s life, I had taken the Academic English course. The final project is an essay writing which is the main point of this course (40%). I got sick while doing this project that affected to the ability to write the essay. The mid-term exam was coming, and I had others assignments to do and submit but I need to write my essay to be perfect too. However, my tension was broke down seven days before the exam at the mid-night of Saturday. I had stopped doing everything and talked with my roommate about our homes, our friends, etc. We talked together until two hours later, our topic is about politics (we changed from the southern unrest) and both of us have different opinions. I thought we could talk together any more because the purpose of our conversation is to relax ourselves form the exam not to argue each other. Other reason to stop the conversation is I was now pleasure. Talking or exchanging the opinion with another people can made relieve from the problems, but we need to remind ourselves that the good talker should give a chance to the others to share their ideas. At the same time if you don’t agree with the others’ opinions or do not need to listen or talk about that topic anymore, you should change the other topic politely. So, after I talked with my roommate and failed when I tried to change the topic, I finished the conversation by ‘I felt sleepy!’

    My latest curriculum consists of subjects which are very difficult. Moreover, I have not only assignments but also quizzes all the time that affected me so tired for fighting them. Consequently, I still stayed at the dormitory to do homework as well as I had to get up early too, but I hated something like this. It was a kind of tension; I was anxious, stressful, and boring that resulted me didn’t want to do anything. It is the abstract that I will face in spite of I needed a break; who could give me a break from studying, please. I asked myself and thought critically. That’s why I should have a break because stopping doing something in a while that made me continued doing new thing better. So, I must be relaxed by getting rid of all tension whenever I felt bad. In fact, I want a rest including long break to do everything that I can. For instance, travelling, spending much money to shop, and eat various foods. For me, I’ll do something and such as I will consult about serious problems from my lovely mother, sing a song, watch something funny from several websites, talk with my friends, chit chat with others, and also sleep. From time to time, I maybe just dance and shout loudly as much as I can to release something from my mind. That could make me forgettable the serious part of studying. So, I think that even though there are several barriers in my life, but I have a break to gain more power to face them.

    At the stressful time, I believe everyone needs a break. In this semester I study very heard and each subject is very difficult.     Yesterday, I was very tired from my works that teachers assigned me to do. Why teachers gave me so many works? I didn’t understand. I did not have enough time to break but I felt very bad indeed. My brain liked a dried sponge and my eyes were so heavy as well. I decided to push it away before it killing me; I thought that I should take a break some and continued my works latter. Then, I laid down, turned on the music and grasped my PSP to play games. Besides, I ate a cheddar cheese spread one that I found in my cabinet while I was playing games. Take a break with these things can make me feel better, I always do the same when I tired from works. Everyone should take a break some, and do not effort it much because it can cause a bad health. In the other way, sleeping is the best way to take a break which is the most effective or whatever depends on you. So, let's take a break!

    Student's life is not only studying. We have a lot of activity at teenager time. Yeah!! I always think what the way to take a break is. I think what the activity makes me relax? Absolutely, cooking I love, after I finished the class I am so hungry. I go to Fah Thai market to buy pork, vegetable, or rice that was cooked by me. This is not the meal that makes me relax but the process of cooking is. So, many pleasure increases when I grow up. I and my close friend decide to register at Num Na Mor where we have worked. The memorable at first sight with first boss who asks the reason; why do you want to work here? “To relax” this answer that makes her laugh. Her advices to us: if you want to take a break, you can come and give the money 100 bath per 5 hours. I am not believed because my innocent answer that makes her accepts us. Lucky!!! Even though, I found the place to take a break and get the money too. I love taking a break. Do you like it?

    I'm sure that everyone need a little break when they get tired from their hard work or some activities. In this semester I have to take seven courses and each course are quite hard and there are a lot of homework and also assignment for me to do. It's not different from last semester because I took nine courses and the work was as much as I had in this semester, sometime when I have to do the hard work and when I getting tired I just find something to do. First I might just open my laptop to play some games or chat with my friends on Msn and update my facebook, next I would find something to eat while I'm working, then have a little nap to get more power to do a good work. Finally after I had a break I'm not felt tired any more and have more energy to continue on my assignment. I think if we have to do a hard work and get tired and just keep doing it until it finished without having a break the work will not turn out to be good. In this time I really want to have a big break for my midterm exam, because now I don't have enough time to study on it.

    On our world is necessary to connect with the other in this moment, so the speaking is the one way to communicate with the people. Just like me, I 'm in university and I have to communicate with my friends or teachers. And I also studies English major then I'm quite necessary to speak more and more. This point makes me tried so much, I know that it's my important thing to do.

    Everyday, I must get up early morning and rapidly to go to study. Moreover I quite concentrate on every subject. I have to read, listen, write, and speak; it's so hard for me because I must do all these together. One day I had to speak since the early morning untill I will sleep, so I thought I might give me a break about speaking. I always think I may stop to speak and just only listen form another. In several time I think I'm so tried in speaking, so I think if I will stop speaking and then it may be relax and I may understand the peace more than this. One day, I have been stopped my speaking with another all day when I saw my friends or the other I just smiled and walked away because I didn't want to speak anything.     I strongly agree that everybody need to take some break from work. I am the one who need to take some break when I do a lot of home work especially yesterday. I have many things that I should be done before midterm examination such as Reading assignment 1, Literature book report even my draft writing. Unfortunately, I take some break once in a while because I feel bad emotion interrupt me. There fore, I remove my attention from homework to start listening rock music and I begin crazy dace it about 30 minutes; I felt better emotion. After that, I went to the market to buy something eats; I bought noodle, water, some snacks and pack it back to dorm. I started my enjoy eating with hungrily; I had filled fullness by some meal. Moreover, a special thing that I take a break is sleeping; I spent times more than one hour to sleep with my sweet dream in the afternoon. Fortunately, I woke up at two o’clock and I start to clear my home work again without any negative emotion or some tension. Finally, I can clear every assignment until midnight. Eventually, I extremely believe that, when we have confronted with some bad emotion or any tension we can be rid of through differences break it depends on individual management processes.

    In my life, strain happen anywhere anytime .Especially, I worry everything about study in Mae Fah Luang University because I’m not well in English and hate it. However, I have no choice; I must study here in English Major. One day, after I finished final exam of listen & speaking course. I felt serious because I can not do the exam. I cried in front of the exam room. I tried to find the way to reduce my tension .It was talk with my family because they understand me more than other and they always give the good idea for me. I called my aunt and consulted my problem then she said “Forget it and try again: try to do it as well as you can” .After that, I called with my aunt I felt like I never walk alone on the hard way.     The time to get me a break is coming! It will come in next a two weeks on New Year’s holiday. There are approximately five days, I am going to my home in Chiang Kong district of Chiang Rai for relaxing and staying with my family. Because of during I have studied at Mae Fah Luang university, I rather have not a chance to go out or travel with my friend accept, seeing the orthodontist in the town center of Chiang Rai each month. In that case, I really hope for my free times; I expect to play internet game especially Farmville and do something which interchange the ideas of each other. Morover,I plan for many activities if I already come back home. First of all, I will eat whatever I can eat as much as I can and sleep for enough in each day. The last one, I will cook for my family favorite food and picnic near Mae Kong River together. Until I turn to the university, I study hard all this semester and I must do
    a lot of assignments. These make me so worry and nervous about my grading when I finish this semester. I think that nobody do not want a serious feeling all the time because it can make people look old than the real age. Thus,

  62. Oh!! My break where are you? I need you now. I very tried because a lot of assignment also midterm exam came in next week it makes me very serious. Certainly, I would like to break but it short period through relax; I just only talk with my best friend because I and she has a lot of thing to talk that make me happy and relax. Although, a chocolate is the most that I like it make me feel good and power to do homework continued. On next week, I will fight to do midterm exam because only one week that I tried then I was long weekend. After that I will go back home and stay with my family this is the good break for me.

  63. Give me a break

    When I feel tried, I have the way that absolutely different from other. I am an attention deficit disorder this is a reason why I cannot concentrate with thing that clam. I found that I feel relax when I sit on my garage roof take some drink and take a look at highway it feel like everyone be engaged in their business but I disengage of these at least for a while and then I will have a morale to do anything after take a break.

  64. ‘Give Me a Break’

    This week is like a cruel period for me, because I must study hard in everyday, and prepare myself for midterm examination; if I can say something, I would like to say ‘Give me a break’ so much. Now I have a lot of assignment and hand out are waiting me to read it, so it makes me tried and stress. I think maybe the phrase ‘Give me a break’ is very appropriate for me, because if I feel tried or use all of my energy in a day, it makes me doubt about my action like what I am doing? Sometimes I do something wrong and confused or in Thai called ‘Blur’. It is not only my feeling or my reaction but also my body; the body system will alter especially excretory system. It happens when I sleep not enough. Eating, shopping, and watching movies are the way to reduce stress and to relax myself. Therefore, ‘Give me a break, please’.

  66. Whenever I feel so exhausted, I will paused what I am doing for a while and look for something else incase of relaxing. Last semester, at the final examination period, I had to prepare my reading schedule which was very mess and stress. After I finished the English Phonetic exam, I went to Doi Tung at that after noon by a motorcycle; I just needed some space to rearrange things in my head. It was a lovely sunny day and I went there alone. When I was there, there were a few tourists in the location then I went to the Coffee Shop just had a cup of tea. After finished my sweet, I went further to a roadside shelter and sat there. In front of me, it is a huge mountain, steep hill which are very green. I stood up and took deep a breath, I thought that was a deepest freshly breath I’ve ever took. Silence is golden; I kept myself quieted and listen peacefully to the wind-flow along with birds, those natural elements were combined together to composed a natural melody sound. Even Mozart’s song would not better than that sounds. I sat there, peacefully and full of harmony, for an hour and realized that was almost evening, and then I returned to my dormitory. I felt relax and peaceful because I just had a best moment with a natural musician who sang a most beautiful song to me.

  67. “Give me a break”

    I usually need to have a break when I stress or do something over the time. A break that necessary for me; I always take my break by relaxing such as play game, watch television, eat some snack, sleep, read the cartoon books, and etc. A break it help me a lot when I serious about something or have some problem but I can not solve these problem. Although, the break may be waste of time but I think if just a few time can change us to have more relaxing I think we should. Therefore, time to break is very important to everybody because no one can do something over their limited so their need a break. Finally, “give me a break” is the sentence that I always said in every week because there are many assignments to do and also many quiz that I have to prepare my brain; thus, I really need more time to break.

  70. 'Give me a Break'

    It's very important to me to take a break when I have to concentrate on something that use a lot of energy. Without a break, It can be easy to lose my concentration that mean whatever I'm doing in that time will have a lot if error and tits-up at the end. To take a break, I usually close my eye then have some long breathe then concentrate on my mind like meditate. I usually sit near window so I can rest one's eyes by look to view or someting faraway. Normally I won't let myself occurs any stress. I will let it pass fastest I can by solve it with logically thinking, but sometime it's necessary to break a while and solve it later when clam down. It's no good to slove a problem when I'm in bad tempered or moody, that is the reason why take some break is very to me.

  71. Give me a break

    Tense, everyone had it when did a lot of works. And for each person will have the way to make yourself relax. My way it’s not different from other.
    When I have a lot of works to do and got tense, I would sit alone and listen to the music or did nothing. I thought it could help me for more relax and make my brain better running. Another thing that I think it’s can help me a lot is leave it and go to sleep. It is the best way that I usually do when I got stress.
